Tachograph Data Analysis - Need Help?
Data analysis for compliance with drivers hours regulations and WTD
This is an obligation and not an option! We also have available software to solve the Fleet Managers problems of data interpretation. The information directly downloaded from a Digitach needs analysis software to check compliance with the drivers hours rules, using the same data it is also possible to produce complete Working Time Directive reports.
Route 1: Only Digital Data Analysis
Option 1 Purchase software to do your own analysis of all your digital data
Option 2 Use an online bureau. Download your data, send it via the web and choose your reports for the analysed data, and print them out.
Route 2: Paper Charts and Digital Data to be Merged and Analysed
Option 1 Send paper charts to the bureau, then as in Option 2 above send all the digital data to be merged and analysed with the paper chart data.
Option 2 Purchase scanning equipment and analyse your charts and digital data in house.
Route 3: I Haven't Got a Computer - Help!
Oh dear! obviously digital data is made for computers but Digitachs can print out reports. When you take your card out the menu asks if you want a report and if so which type. Use the option to print out a 24hr daily driver's report, each day. Keep the reports, and someone in authority, and with some training, can read and check those reports, but only for basic compliance.
An option under consideration in the industry is to provide a "download and analysis service" this requires access to your card and ideally your vehicle unit, so that data can be captured and reports returned to you. A local analysis bureau or vehicle service centre or similar business may in future offer this localised type of service.
